Card Loyalty and Rewards Specialist

About the role

The Card Loyalty and Rewards Specialist will lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of competitive loyalty programmes for the bank’s card portfolio and its digital banking arm. This role is responsible for shaping the marketing strategy for card products and ensuring the loyalty initiatives drive customer engagement and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the Group Cards strategy by providing loyalty and rewards input aligned with overall business objectives.
• Translate the Group Cards strategy into operational plans, sales targets and spend volumes, and monitor performance throughout the year.
• Develop and execute the marketing strategy for the bank’s cards and loyalty programme, overseeing day‑to‑day execution.
• Lead partner onboarding, earn‑and‑burn, point‑exchange and strategic programme partnerships in the online marketplace.
• Act as the primary contact for card programme and loyalty partners, managing relationships across Elite, Premium Plus, Premium and Standard classifications.
• Design and manage marketing initiatives such as mega‑campaigns and flash deals, including communication design and success‑metric development.
• Oversee loyalty programme administration, financial reconciliation, customer claims handling and rule development.
• Maintain digital content for the loyalty programmes in collaboration with rewards officers.
• Monitor competitor programmes and consumer trends to recommend enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a functional team, setting objectives, recruiting, performance management and staff development.
• Strong ability to consolidate budgets, monitor expenditures and take corrective actions.
• Experience working with senior management and cross‑functional business units to ensure programme reach.
