About the role
Al Mashaan General Trading & General Contracting for Buildings Co. is looking for a Chief Accountant to lead its finance team in Rai. This full‑time, on‑site position offers the chance to shape financial reporting, drive strategic planning, and support the company’s growth.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance metrics.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities each year.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Provide financial insights to support management decisions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 10+ years of accounting experience, including managerial responsibilities.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
