Civil Engineer & Python Expert – Freelance AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a civil engineer with strong Python programming skills to design, implement, and validate computational engineering problems for AI training projects. This freelance, project‑based role allows you to work remotely and contribute to cutting‑edge AI evaluation tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational engineering problems that mimic real‑world civil engineering workflows.
• Create Python‑based tasks that require numerical methods, iterative solutions, and optimization techniques.
• Develop problem statements based on actual research challenges or practical engineering applications.
• Validate solutions using Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, and domain‑specific engineering packages.
• Document problem descriptions clearly and provide verified correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of professional, research, or teaching experience in engineering.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
• Availability for part‑time, non‑permanent project work (approximately 10‑20 hours per week during active phases).

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Numerical libraries: NumPy, Pandas, SciPy.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, and Stata (or equivalent programming languages).
• Experience with engineering‑specific computational libraries and numerical methods.
