Civil Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead and deliver civil engineering projects from inception to completion in Kuwait. The role involves overseeing planning, budgeting, execution, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage civil engineering projects from start to completion.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and local regulations.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to management.
• Maintain communication with clients and government entities when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in civil engineering projects (infrastructure, building construction, road).
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety codes, and relevant legislation.
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with Kuwait Oil Company standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management software such as Primavera or MS Project.
