Compliance Officer

About the role

The Compliance Officer will support the manager in developing, implementing and maintaining effective compliance programs, ensuring the company meets all regulatory reporting requirements set by authorities such as the Capital Markets Authority, Boursa Kuwait and the Kuwait Clearing Company.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and updating compliance policies and practices.
• Prepare detailed periodic compliance reports as directed.
• Advise stakeholders on regulatory standards from CMA, KCC and Boursa Kuwait.
• Act as liaison between group companies, shareholders and relevant authorities.
• Plan, coordinate and oversee Annual General Assembly (AGM) and Extraordinary General Assembly (EGM) meetings, including documentation and communications.
• Draft and maintain accurate minutes of AGM meetings.
• Support preparation and announcement of financial results to Boursa Kuwait and the CMA.
• Monitor company activities for compliance with legislation and regulations.
• Develop and monitor action plans to address compliance findings and risks.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Capital Markets Authority (CMA) regulations.
• Familiarity with Boursa Kuwait and Kuwait Clearing Company (KCC) reporting requirements.
