Consultant of Developmental Pediatrics

About the role

Taiba Hospital is seeking an experienced Consultant of Developmental Pediatrics to lead assessments, interventions, and multidisciplinary collaboration aimed at improving developmental outcomes for children.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive developmental assessments to identify delays, disorders, and special needs.
• Provide specialist consultations and guide families and clinical teams in creating individualized care plans.
• Coordinate therapeutic interventions across medical, behavioral, and educational domains.
• Manage complex neurodevelopmental cases with decisive clinical judgment.
• Foster collaboration among pediatricians, therapists, and educators to ensure holistic care.
• Contribute to quality initiatives, protocol development, and innovative program design.
• Ensure compliance with Taiba Hospital protocols, Ministry of Health regulations, and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 9 years post‑specialty experience in pediatrics with a focus on developmental and behavioral care.
• Medical degree with pediatric specialty training and board certification (USA, Canada, UK, Germany, GCC, or equivalent).
• Advanced certification or fellowship in Developmental Pediatrics or a related subspecialty.
• Proven ability to manage complex neurodevelopmental conditions.
• Strong clinical insight and resilience in challenging situations.
