About the role
Worley is seeking a Contracts Administrator to support the full contract lifecycle for large oil & gas facilities projects. The role involves both pre‑award and post‑award activities, ensuring contracts are prepared, negotiated, administered and closed in line with company standards and client requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare bid invitations, process bidder queries, evaluate bids and manage contract award formalities.
- Conduct kick‑off meetings, coordinate contract submittals, process variation orders, claims and contract close‑out.
- Draft Invitation to Tender packages and propose alternative clauses to client contract conditions.
- Collaborate with legal, risk, tax and accounting teams to obtain necessary approvals.
- Participate in negotiation teams to establish contract terms and conditions.
- Monitor contract compliance, advise the Projects Contracts Manager on scope, financial and risk aspects.
- Prepare change‑order documentation, client correspondence and facility acceptance documents.
- Provide business and financial information to clients as delegated by the Project Manager.
- Identify contractual issues, drive resolutions and ensure quality standards are met.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Commerce or Law.
- IACCM Contract and Commercial Management Advanced Practitioner certification is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of contractual terms, conditions and commercial contract law.
- Strong experience in procurement and contract administration processes from bid preparation through award and close‑out.
- Ability to maintain an audit trail and produce accurate documentation for management.
