Contracts Technician

About the role

The Contracts Technician provides high‑quality administrative support to the Contracts Department throughout the contract lifecycle, from initial tender preparation to final close‑out. The role ensures accurate documentation, safe storage of audit files, and assists with performance feedback reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to Contracts Department personnel.
• Support Contracts Administrators in preparing tender invitation documents and approval documentation.
• Distribute contract documents as directed and maintain contract correspondence files.
• Arrange copying and distribution of original bonds, warranties, insurance certificates, and policies.
• Complete and ensure safe storage of contract audit files.
• Assist in producing bidder and contractor performance feedback reports.
• Work within the Quality Assurance system and follow OH&S safety procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma.
• Minimum 5 years overall post‑graduation experience.
• At least 2 years post‑graduation experience in the oil and gas industry, with 3 years in a similar contracts‑department role.
• Understanding of decarbonization, energy transition, and sustainability concepts.
