Core Network Administrator – Cloud Networking

About the role

We are looking for a Core Network Administrator to manage, maintain and optimise our core network infrastructure. The role ensures high availability, reliability and performance of network services while supporting new projects and roaming operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure high service availability and optimal performance of core network systems.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
• Provide technical support for roaming operations and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve core network issues to maintain KPIs and service standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and technical teams to address hardware and software problems.
• Maintain compliance with SLAs and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Supervise database dimensions, hardware expansions and plan database maintenance activities.
• Manage fault detection, correction and implement fault‑management procedures.
• Document and report on fault‑management activities and outcomes.
• Identify and implement process improvements for workflow efficiency.
• Develop and document new processes for network management.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and integrate them.
• Coordinate with development teams and business units for project requirements.
• Assist in technical preparation for new projects, services and expansions.
• Facilitate communication between units and ensure environmental, health and safety compliance.
• Implement security protocols to protect network infrastructure.
• Prepare reports on network performance, fault management and process improvements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation accessible to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Industry certifications in core network technologies or vendor‑specific certifications.
• Strong understanding of core network technologies and protocols.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, communication and teamwork abilities.
