Cosmetic Manufacturing & Formulation Specialist

About the role

The Cosmetic Manufacturing & Formulation Specialist will develop, test, improve and manufacture a range of cosmetic and personal‑care products, ensuring quality, stability and compliance with company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and formulate new creams, lotions, soaps, oils and related products according to specifications.
• Select raw materials, preservatives, fragrances, colors, emulsifiers and surfactants.
• Conduct laboratory trials, adjust formulations and perform stability and basic quality tests.
• Operate the full manufacturing process from raw‑material weighing to mixing, heating, cooling and homogenisation.
• Collaborate with the Production team to ensure formulations are practical and manufacturable.
• Troubleshoot issues such as separation, viscosity changes, odor or colour variations.
• Maintain accurate records of formulations, test results and raw‑material usage.
• Ensure safe handling, storage and use of chemicals in line with safety procedures.

Required profile

• Filipino nationality with 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in cosmetic product manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetic raw materials and their applications.
• Good understanding of chemical handling and laboratory safety.

Required skills

• Practical experience in manufacturing cosmetic and personal‑care products.
• Ability to conduct laboratory experiments, analyse results and troubleshoot formulation problems.
• Knowledge of raw‑material selection, preservatives, fragrances, colors, emulsifiers and surfactants.
