Country General Manager – Kuwait

About the role

The Country General Manager leads the company’s operations in Kuwait, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and driving sustainable growth. This senior position oversees all functional areas, builds key stakeholder relationships, and represents the business in official matters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic and operational plans to achieve profitability and long‑term objectives.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate department managers, fostering a high‑performance culture and meeting KPIs.
• Identify expansion opportunities, increase market share, and shape sales and marketing strategies.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and government authorities.
• Monitor market trends, analyze competitors, and propose initiatives to enhance competitive positioning.
• Approve operational and administrative decisions within delegated authority and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Review financial performance, provide recommendations to the Company Owner, and prepare periodic operational reports.
• Oversee strategic projects, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion.
• Enhance customer service performance and ensure delivery of high‑quality products and services.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience, preferably as a General Manager or Country Head.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including government and key partner relations.
• Ability to make decisive, data‑driven decisions under pressure.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
