Decorating Paint Sales Consultant

About the role

The Decorating Paint Sales Consultant works full‑time on‑site in Shuwaikh, advising customers on decorative paint products and solutions. You will greet clients, understand their project requirements and recommend suitable paints, finishes, colours and related materials.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers, assess their needs and propose appropriate decorative paint solutions.
• Prepare quotations, process orders and coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain product displays, update samples and catalogs, and monitor stock levels.
• Communicate customer feedback to management and support promotional activities.
• Build relationships with contractors, designers and retail clients.
• Stay informed about new decorative paint technologies, trends and brand offerings.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and sales skills with the ability to understand client needs.
• Knowledge of decorative paints, coatings, finishes and basic colour theory; interest in interior and exterior design trends.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, able to explain technical product information clearly.
• Basic numeracy and computer skills for quotations, order processing and record keeping.
• Ability to work on‑site in Shuwaikh, stand for extended periods and manage a showroom environment.
• Previous experience in paint sales, building materials, retail or construction is an advantage.
• Organisational and time‑management skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales, design or construction material training is beneficial.
