Director – Client Relationships

About the role

The Director – Client Relationships will lead a portfolio of large corporate accounts, driving revenue growth while ensuring high service quality and credit risk standards. This senior position oversees a team, manages day‑to‑day client interactions, and collaborates with product and risk units to deliver tailored banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client markets and financials to identify opportunities and risks.
• Originate new business across banking products, prepare term sheets, information memoranda and financial models.
• Negotiate, pitch and close deals while managing credit, market and operational risk in partnership with relevant units.
• Coach, develop and motivate team members to meet revenue and credit‑quality targets.
• Maintain and update account plans, client documentation and timely credit reviews.
• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, internal policies, KPI, ORM, BCP and audit requirements.
• Prepare accurate MIS reports and support the Unit Head with administrative and transactional tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• Strong knowledge of the banking sector and FAB’s product suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Excellent analytical and research capabilities.
