Director Food Service Sales

About the role

MF FOOD is an international food company offering a portfolio of brands, including MF for easy cooking products. It is hiring a Director Food Service Sales for a full-time, on-site position in Kuwait. The role leads and grows the company's presence in the food service channel, overseeing sales strategy, business development and key account management with national and regional partners such as distributors, chains and institutional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Set sales targets, guide and mentor the sales team and develop strategic plans to expand product penetration in targeted segments.
• Analyze market trends and collaborate with marketing, operations and product development to align offerings with customer needs and improve service levels.
• Hold regular client meetings, negotiate contracts, report performance and represent the company at industry events and trade shows.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in food service channel operations, including menu applications, product positioning and knowledge of institutional and hospitality segments.
• Track record of achieving growth targets and leading high-performing sales teams.
• Experience managing national accounts, especially large chains, distributors and strategic partners in the food and beverage industry.
• Previous leadership experience in food service, FMCG or related sectors; Middle East market experience is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in Kuwait and travel regionally for client visits, market reviews and industry events.
