Director of Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness

About the role

The Director of Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness leads the university’s quality assurance, assessment, accreditation and effectiveness initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures compliance with national and international standards and promotes a culture of continuous improvement across academic and administrative units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee institutional quality assurance, assessment, and effectiveness processes.
• Coordinate institutional and program‑level accreditation activities, including self‑studies, reports and site visits.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with national and international accreditation and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain assessment frameworks and performance indicators.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative units to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor, analyze and report effectiveness data to senior leadership.
• Supervise quality assurance, accreditation and assessment staff.
• Support strategic planning and policy development related to quality and effectiveness.
• Prepare reports and documentation for leadership, governing bodies and accrediting agencies.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree in Education, Higher Education Administration, Institutional Research or a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in quality assurance, accreditation or institutional effectiveness within higher education.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
