Distribution Coordinator – Logistics Operations

About the role

The Distribution Coordinator ensures smooth order handling, routing, and delivery operations while acting as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams. This role supports showroom storekeepers, order processing agents, and third‑party carriers to meet service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain distribution schedules to optimise fleet capacity and delivery lead‑times.
• Communicate with customers via email to provide order updates, handle complaints, and process refunds.
• Coordinate with internal departments and third‑party delivery agents to fulfil orders, manage returns, and resolve issues.
• Log and track all order‑related activities in SAP QM and other systems, ensuring data accuracy.
• Generate daily performance reports covering dispatched, cancelled, pending, and undelivered orders.
• Assist showroom storekeepers with cash handling and documentation.
• Monitor payment‑on‑delivery ageing lists and coordinate vendor communications for stock availability.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or a similar coordination role.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
• High school diploma required; diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Team‑player attitude with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

• SAP QM (order and complaint management).
