Warehouse Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will lead the inbound and outbound shift teams, ensuring accurate inventory capture, efficient off‑loading, and compliance with quality and safety standards. This role coordinates closely with the Fleet Supervisor and management to meet daily container targets and optimise operational costs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage shift schedules for inbound and outbound warehouse activities.
• Ensure all inbound inventory is recorded in the system before off‑loading.
• Verify that every SKU has a scannable barcode and conduct packaging and labeling audits.
• Plan resources for off‑loading and put‑away, and assign containers based on manpower capacity.
• Produce daily KPI reports and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintain health and safety standards, enforce best practices, and ensure staff receive proper SAP training.
• Coordinate with the Fleet Supervisor to avoid delays and monitor material supplies such as pallets and shrink‑wrap.

Required skills

• Experience managing inbound warehouse activities.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and material handling equipment (MHE).
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Understanding of KPI reporting and control procedures.
