Drama Teacher – British School in Kuwait

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Drama Teacher to join a well‑established British school in Kuwait, starting August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging drama lessons to secondary students, following the National Curriculum of England within a BSO‑accredited environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess drama lessons for secondary year groups.
• Develop and adapt the drama curriculum in line with the English National Curriculum.
• Foster a creative and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.
• Participate in continuous professional development and mentorship programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and PGCE or QTS obtained in the UK or Ireland.
• Experience teaching drama at secondary level within the British curriculum.
• Previous teaching experience in schools in the UK or Ireland.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
