E‑Commerce Developer (WordPress/WooCommerce & Shopify)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced E‑Commerce Developer to build, customize, maintain, and optimise our online stores on WordPress/WooCommerce and Shopify. The role involves delivering high‑performing, conversion‑focused websites for a range of retail sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customise and maintain e‑commerce sites using WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify.
• Create and modify Shopify themes with Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JSON templates.
• Customise WordPress themes and plugins to meet business requirements.
• Build landing, campaign, product and collection pages, and manage site updates such as banners, navigation and checkout improvements.
• Integrate payment gateways, shipping providers, CRM, ERP and third‑party applications.
• Work with APIs for product data, inventory, orders and customer information.
• Optimise site speed, mobile performance, SEO and conversion rates.
• Troubleshoot front‑end and back‑end issues, ensuring responsive design across devices.
• Implement analytics and tracking tools including Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Meta Pixel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Development or related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with WordPress/WooCommerce and Shopify development.
• Strong portfolio of e‑commerce websites.

• CRO, A/B testing, analytics tools (Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, GTmetrix, Search Console, Hotjar)
