Electrical Maintenance Manager - Residential

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Manager will lead all electrical maintenance activities for a fleet of onshore drilling rigs and associated equipment in Kuwait. The role ensures high reliability, safety, and performance of complex electrical systems across multiple rigs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve preventive, predictive and corrective electrical maintenance programs.
• Plan and supervise major electrical overhauls, rig upgrades and refurbishment projects.
• Monitor equipment performance, conduct root‑cause failure analysis and drive reliability improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex electrical failures on multiple rigs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in a CMMS and manage spare‑parts inventory and budgets.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate Electrical Superintendents, Supervisors, Engineers and field electricians.
• Ensure compliance with OEM recommendations, industry best practices, HSE policies and safety procedures such as LOTO and PTW.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing electrical maintenance for onshore drilling rigs or similar heavy‑industrial equipment.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent analytical skills for failure analysis and reliability engineering.
• Familiarity with HSE standards and electrical safety regulations.
