About the role
The EMT Basic will support fire and medical emergency response for V2X in Kuwait, providing on‑scene care and transport for patients while maintaining readiness for fire department duties.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to fire, medical, and related emergency calls, assess patients, and provide emergency care at the scene and during transport.
- Educate staff and the public on fire safety and prevention, and perform general fire department activities.
- Communicate patient condition and status to paramedics and medical officers.
Required profile
- Nationally registered EMT‑Basic with CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications.
- Minimum 2 years experience in an emergency health‑care setting and on an ambulance.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Physically able to lift at least 100 lb and work shifts including days, swings, and midnight.
Required skills
- EMT‑Basic certification and emergency medical procedures.
- Operation of medical equipment, stretchers, and ambulances.
- Computer and copier/scanning skills for EMS inventory management.
