ESM Systems Engineer III (Secret Clearance)

About the role

V2X, a global company building smart solutions that integrate physical and digital infrastructure, is hiring an ESM Systems Engineer III with Secret clearance. The role provides high-level engineering and management support for all Enterprise systems in the RCC-SWA, acting as an escalation point for support issues and mentoring Systems Engineers. It reports to the section team lead and requires expert hands-on experience in a large Enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Enterprise-level support for Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Windows File Services for global initiatives.
• Perform problem management and root cause analysis for corporate identity management in a large Department of Defense setting.
• Serve as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, guiding the resolution of complex production and system problems.
• Install, configure and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Enterprise tools and third-party software.
• Coordinate patch management and monthly Windows updates, analyse SCCM / Intune logs, handle application packaging, OSD and custom SQL reporting.
• Create desktop and server images with technologies such as MDT and maintain system documentation.
• Improve processes, troubleshoot servers and infrastructure, and coordinate work across teams.

Required profile

• Active Secret clearance; must meet host-country requirements including a host nation visa and driver's license.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science, MIS, IS, Engineering or a related field; DoD 8570.01M compliance required.
• At least one baseline certification and one computing environment (CE) certification (e.g. CCNP Security, CASP+, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CISA, CCSP, Azure certifications).
• Minimum 5 years of experience (10 preferred) in technical, managerial or analytical work on Enterprise information systems.

Required skills

• Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), Intune, WSUS, SQL, DNS, PKI, ADFS, AD FS, AD CS.
• PowerShell scripting and troubleshooting of servers and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft productivity software and email clients.
