Experienced Arabic Grill Chef (Griller)

About the role

Matbakhi is seeking an experienced griller to join its kitchen team in Al Qurain, Kuwait. The successful candidate will specialize in preparing a wide range of Arabic grill dishes, ensuring high standards of taste, quality, and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Arabic grill menu items such as kebab, ta, shish tawook, grilled meats and chicken.
• Perform cutting, marinating, skewering and grilling operations according to recipe specifications.
• Maintain consistent food quality, flavor and visual standards for all dishes.
• Follow strict hygiene, food‑safety and kitchen cleanliness procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to support smooth service flow.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Arabic grill cooking, including kebab, ta and shish tawook.
• Ability to uphold food quality, taste and presentation standards.
• Familiarity with hygiene, food‑safety and kitchen cleanliness protocols.
• Previous experience in catering or restaurant operations is an advantage.
• Must be available to work in Kuwait with a transferable residency.
