Field HR Officer – F&B Operations

About the role

The Field HR Officer will work directly with branch and central kitchen teams to support people operations, training, talent acquisition and staff development. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role that requires regular visits to multiple locations, problem‑solving on the spot and close collaboration with operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular visits to branches and the central kitchen to monitor attendance, grooming, discipline and performance.
• Ensure staff adhere to customer‑service standards, company policies and Kuwait labour law.
• Prepare daily and weekly HR field reports for management.
• Recruit, screen, interview and select candidates for branch, kitchen and operations positions.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline and identify high‑potential employees for promotion.
• Train, coach and develop employees on‑site; manage training plans and matrices.
• Monitor new hires during probation and support performance‑development plans.
• Handle onboarding, contracts, employee files, payroll, attendance, leaves and staff scheduling.
• Manage residency transfers, renewals and related documentation.
• Track KPIs, conduct performance evaluations and follow up on improvement actions.
• Address warnings, investigations and disciplinary actions fairly and professionally.
• Resolve staff issues, promote retention, motivation and employee engagement.
• Collaborate closely with operations to enhance team performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of HR experience, preferably in food & beverage, restaurants or cafés.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait labour law.
• Excellent people‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with operations and branch teams.
• Willingness to travel and perform field work.
