Finance Director – Group Finance Leadership (Kuwait)

About the role

The group is seeking a hands‑on Finance Director to lead and transform its finance function across multiple entities in Kuwait and the GCC. Reporting directly to the Chairman, you will influence major business decisions and build a scalable finance operation that supports future growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead group financial strategy, planning, reporting and internal controls.
• Standardise finance processes and reporting across all entities.
• Manage banking relationships, liquidity, cash‑flow and working‑capital.
• Evaluate investments, expansion opportunities and major business decisions.
• Strengthen budgeting, forecasting, governance and management reporting.
• Develop and lead finance teams across the group.
• Provide the Chairman with clear, commercially focused financial advice.

Required profile

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience with senior leadership responsibility.
• Proven experience managing finance across multiple companies or legal entities.
• Strong GCC experience and understanding of owner‑led or diversified groups.
• Hands‑on exposure to treasury, banking facilities, budgeting, reporting and controls.
• Ability to operate strategically while staying close to execution.
• Currently based in Kuwait – mandatory.
• Big Four experience, CMA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent qualifications and successful ERP implementation are strong advantages.
