Finance Specialist - FP&A Operations

About the role

This remote role covers financial planning, analysis and reporting for KTC, with a strong focus on operational cash flow, billing and collections, and financial forecasting. It works closely with business leaders and functional teams across the Gulf region to ensure accurate reporting, compliance and support for profitability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Cash and billing: manage operational cash flow, internal and external billings, collections, past-due tracking and bank reconciliations
• Planning and forecasting: prepare 3-year business plans, budgets and forecasts with business leaders, and run pacing and early-read analysis
• Performance analysis: analyse profitability and cash generation, propose corrective actions and support cost-out and productivity initiatives
• Reporting: provide P&L and corporate reporting, monitor variances and report discrepancies to the CPM and PFM teams
• Projects and governance: monitor PMX projects, review and approve EV project markups, track unbilled projects (WIP/ECA) and coordinate PMX upside allocation via Unify
• Close and compliance: reconcile balance sheets across three countries under GE and Kuwaiti governance standards, manage month-end and quarter-end close, and support statutory filings (GEGS and GEII)
• Stakeholder engagement: join weekly SOF management calls and liaise with GE Treasury and Gas Power FP&A teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in FP&A or a similar role
• Strong Arabic and English, spoken and written
• Desired: master's degree in accounting, prior commercial finance or energy industry experience, and team management experience in a matrix environment
