Operations Support / Receivables Specialist

About the role

Odfjell Technology, a global company active in more than 20 countries, is looking for an experienced, locally based Operations Support / Receivables professional in Kuwait. The ideal candidate has a good understanding of the local business environment and relevant experience in Kuwait's oil and gas industry, with experience working with local companies in operations support and receivables management.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain customer approval on billing documents before submitting them to Finance.
• Manage full-cycle credit operations across high-value client portfolios in Kuwait.
• Work with sales and operations teams to reduce DSO and improve cash flow.
• Oversee overdue accounts, negotiate settlements and escalate disputes when needed.
• Evaluate customer financial data and credit history to recommend risk-adjusted credit limits.
• Monitor and update accounts receivable and the statement of account (SOA) with the Operations Manager and support team.
• Prepare the documentation supporting outgoing rental equipment according to internal and customer guidelines, and obtain the documentation customers need for invoicing.

Required profile

• Experience in operations support, credit control and accounts receivable, preferably in the oil and gas industry in Kuwait.
• Strong communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Good understanding of invoicing, credit management and receivables processes.
• Arabic language skills are preferred.
• Must be locally based in Kuwait.
