Financial Markets Advisory VP/Associate – Kuwait City

About the role

BlackRock’s Financial Markets Advisory team in Kuwait is seeking experienced professionals at the Associate or Vice President level to provide strategic advice to sovereign wealth funds, central banks, insurers and other institutional clients. The role involves delivering high‑impact advisory services that combine capital‑markets expertise with BlackRock’s data, analytics and technology capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage project activities, from engagement design and planning to delivery of client‑focused deliverables.
• Interact directly with senior client stakeholders, advising on infrastructure, real‑estate and real‑asset investment strategies.
• Develop subject‑matter expertise in capital markets and real assets, providing actionable recommendations and financial modelling support.
• Conduct quantitative research and analysis, producing reports and presentations that inform strategic decision‑making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across BlackRock’s Capital Markets, Aladdin, Portfolio Advisory and Research functions.
• Contribute to business development by helping senior leaders design innovative solutions for new and existing clients.
• Mentor junior staff and uphold BlackRock’s fiduciary culture and commitment to excellence.

Required profile

• Associate‑ or Vice President‑level experience in financial advisory, investment banking or asset management.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear client recommendations.
• Proven ability to work with senior executives and manage client relationships.
• Willingness to work in Kuwait City and engage with regional institutional clients.
