Foreign Disclosure Specialist

About the role

A2 Federal, an 8(a) and Service Disabled, Veteran-Owned small business providing personnel with expertise in analysis, operations and mission support, is hiring a Foreign Disclosure Specialist in Kuwait. The role supports the Foreign Disclosure Office (FDO) in overseeing and implementing foreign disclosure programs and handling the release of classified military information.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the FDO with oversight and implementation of foreign disclosure programs within the HQs of CJTF-OIR and subordinate units in theater.
• Assist the CJTF-OIR FDO with the release of Classified Military Information (CMI).
• Apply the proper release and security/classification markings on all disclosures or releases.
• Support FDRs (Foreign Disclosure Representatives) and CJTF-OIR staff with questions on foreign disclosure.
• Help subordinate commands and staff with guidance on foreign disclosure policies and procedures.
• Compile metrics on documents processed, their classification level and recipients.
• Help develop periodic FDR training materials and assist with initial and annual/refresher foreign disclosure training.
• Provide a weekly activity report covering all weekly activities.

Required profile

• Associate's degree plus four years of direct relevant intelligence, security or FDO experience, or a bachelor's degree plus eight years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience as an Intelligence and/or Security Analyst is a must.
• Completion of the DIA DIE FDO course (Tampa) and USCENTCOM FDO training under USCENTCOM Regulation 380-5 plus.
• Ability to work independently, deploy and work extended hours in a high OPSTEMPO environment.
• Familiarity with USCENTCOM's area of operation and thorough knowledge of the National Disclosure Policy.
