Front Desk Agent

About the role

The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout their stay. This role ensures smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, handles guest inquiries, and collaborates with other hotel departments to meet guest needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, courteous, and prompt service from the moment guests arrive until departure.
• Greet guests personally, escort them to their rooms, and provide hotel and local information.
• Maintain accurate guest records, process reservations, and manage incidental charges using the hotel’s Front Office system.
• Stay informed about hotel rates, occupancy levels, promotions, events, and local attractions to answer guest queries effectively.
• Uphold privacy standards by protecting guest information.
• Follow hotel policies, procedures, and service standards, including environmental, health, and safety guidelines.
