Head Chef for Central Kitchen (Italian Cuisine)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our Central Kitchen operations, focusing on Italian cuisine across multiple outlets in Kuwait. The role combines strategic menu development, team leadership, and strict quality control to ensure exceptional dining experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations for several locations, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
• Develop menus, recipes, and detailed food costing sheets.
• Research, create, and test innovative seasonal dishes.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and timely delivery.
• Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff across all outlets.
• Implement and uphold food safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
• Establish and monitor kitchen policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to secure quality ingredients.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and performance metrics.
• Foster a collaborative, high‑performance kitchen culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in hotels, restaurants, or hospitality chains.
• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building abilities.
• Creative, hands‑on approach with a passion for food.
• Proven ability to manage multiple kitchens and teams simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
