Head of Sales

About the role

Jazeera Airways is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Head of Sales to lead the airline’s sales strategy across Kuwait and key international markets. The role will be responsible for driving passenger revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening trade and corporate partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the airline's sales strategy aligned with corporate and commercial objectives.
• Deliver revenue, market share, yield, and passenger volume targets across all markets.
• Identify new business opportunities, customer segments, and revenue streams.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to optimise sales initiatives.
• Support route launches and network expansion through targeted sales and market development plans.
• Develop and manage relationships with corporate accounts, travel management companies, travel agencies, OTAs, tour operators, and government entities.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, incentive programmes, and preferred partnerships.
• Optimise performance across all sales channels including GDS, NDC, direct online sales, mobile platforms, call centres, and agency networks.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing sales organisation, setting clear targets and KPIs.
• Prepare annual sales budgets, forecasts, business plans and regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Aviation Management, Economics or a related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of airline commercial and sales experience.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue, market share and passenger volume targets.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across Revenue Management, Network Planning, Marketing, Finance and Operations.

Required skills

• Experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
• Knowledge of New Distribution Capability (NDC) platforms.
