Health, Safety & Environment Officer

About the role

The HSE Officer will ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations across our facilities in Kuwait. You will develop and enforce safety procedures, conduct inspections and promote a strong safety culture among all employees.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments and recommend control measures.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses, preparing detailed reports.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks and awareness sessions.
• Maintain HSE documentation, inspection records and safety statistics.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities such as fire drills and evacuations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Relevant HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) preferred.
• Previous HSE experience in manufacturing, industrial or construction environments.
• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and risk assessment procedures.
• Strong communication, reporting and problem‑solving abilities.
