Heavy Equipment Maintenance Manager – Residential

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance activities for heavy mobile equipment and support fleet assets in Kuwait. The role focuses on maximizing equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency while supporting overall company objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee maintenance for heavy equipment and support fleets.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Plan and schedule routine servicing, repairs, shutdowns and major overhauls.
• Manage maintenance budgets and monitor contractor performance.
• Monitor fleet performance, drive reliability initiatives and conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis for major failures.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, industry standards and local regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and performance reports through CMMS.
• Lead, mentor and develop maintenance personnel and contractors.
• Coordinate with operations, OEMs and third‑party service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• At least 3 years in a maintenance management or leadership role.
• Proven experience with heavy mobile equipment, cranes and support fleets.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Strong experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
