HSE Engineer – Oil & Gas (KBR PMC)

About the role

KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to support a 5‑year PMC contract with Kuwait Oil Company. The role focuses on implementing KOC safety policies, managing the HSE Management System, and ensuring compliance across all project activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of KOC PMC safety policies, HSE Management System, and project‑specific HSE plans.
• Monitor EPC contractor HSE performance, advise on compliance, and reduce risk to personnel and the environment.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the project HSE Management System and Risk Management Plan.
• Maintain statistical data, prepare regular HSEQ reports, and track safety trends.
• Ensure EPC subcontractor selection processes meet KOC expectations and legislative requirements.
• Provide HSE guidance to EPC management, interpret KOC policies, and update procedures as needed.
• Conduct regular site visits, safety talks, and training sessions to promote a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HSE roles within oil, gas, or power projects.
• Familiarity with Kuwait legislative requirements and KOC HSE standards.
• Ability to develop and manage HSE Management Systems and risk plans.
• Strong analytical skills for statistical reporting and trend analysis.
