HSE Manager – Oil & Gas EPC Project

About the role

Archirodon, an international EPC contractor with more than half a century of experience in energy, marine, infrastructure and defense and security projects, is looking for an experienced HSE Manager for its project in Kuwait. The HSE Manager oversees all aspects of health, safety and environmental compliance in oil and gas operations, in line with the client's (KNPC) regulations and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain health, safety and environmental management systems in line with client requirements.
• Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals, providing guidance, support and training.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits and risk assessments, and implement control measures.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and contractors to ensure compliance throughout the project.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Liaise with regulators, industry organizations and stakeholders on HSE regulations and best practices.
• Prepare reports, statistics and documentation for the client and regulatory bodies.
• Promote a safety culture through training, communication and engagement programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, B.Tech or BE degree.
• At least 15 years of experience in HSE/EPC projects in the oil and gas sector, refineries, petrochemicals, fertilizers or heavy chemicals.
• Exposure to large-scale oil and gas and marine projects.
• Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic is beneficial.
• Nice to have: industrial safety diploma, NEBOSH International Diploma, CSP/CMIOSH/CRSP, ISO 9001/45001/14001 auditor certification, and QRA/HAZOP-HAZAN training.
