HSE Officer

About the role

The HSE Officer will lead health, safety and environmental initiatives across our Kuwait operations, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations while fostering a culture of safe work practices.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, inspect and promote compliance with HSE regulations and safe work practices.
• Conduct onsite field audits, document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide coaching, training and documentation for safety-specific programs.
• Act as the emergency response point of contact and coordinate communication among company representatives.
• Facilitate medical treatment, drug screening and manage confidential incident information.
• Coordinate modified duty or return‑to‑work plans with managers, HR and employees.
• Execute incident investigations, identify causal factors and propose corrective measures.
• Develop and implement new safety policies, procedures and training as needs arise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Relevant HSE certifications such as OSHA or NEBOSH.
• Proactive, meticulous attitude with a willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using systems management and database programs.
