Solar Engineer

About the role

Electronica for Electrical Appliances, a Kuwait‑based provider of integrated electrical and renewable energy solutions, is looking for a Solar Engineer to join its team. The role involves designing, installing and commissioning solar power systems for a variety of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design solar power systems for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
• Prepare technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Select system components such as solar panels, inverters, cables and protection devices.
• Integrate solar installations with energy‑storage solutions like batteries.
• Supervise installation works, conduct testing, commissioning and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the solar energy sector.
• Ability to manage projects and work effectively within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with engineering design software.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
• Knowledge of solar panels, inverters, cables, protection systems and battery storage.
