HVAC Service Technician

About the role

Carrier is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join its team in Kuwait. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC systems, ensuring reliable operation for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and servicing of HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues on chillers, air handling units, fan coil units, VRF/VRV systems, package units and control systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance according to schedules and company procedures.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings and service manuals.
• Prepare detailed service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Communicate findings and recommendations professionally to customers.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain safe working practices at all times.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum high school completion.
• 5‑10 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting, preferably in commercial/industrial settings.
• Valid Kuwait driving licence.

Required skills

• Knowledge of water‑cooled and air‑cooled chillers.
• Experience with air handling units (AHUs) and fan coil units (FCUs).
• Familiarity with VRF/VRV systems and package units.
• Understanding of HVAC control systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
