Interior Designer – High-End Residential & Commercial Projects

About the role

Zwayakw Interior Design & General Contracting is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead high‑end residential, commercial and hospitality projects in Kuwait. You will manage the full design journey, from concept development through construction documentation and site execution, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sophisticated, functional spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative interior concepts that align with client requirements, budgets and project objectives.
• Create mood boards, material palettes and compelling client presentations.
• Produce detailed space plans, furniture layouts and comprehensive interior design documentation.
• Generate accurate construction drawings for execution.
• Select and specify FF&E, finishes, lighting, materials and decorative elements.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site surveys, take measurements and monitor progress on‑site.
• Present design proposals to clients and ensure the original vision is maintained during construction.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of professional interior design experience, with a strong portfolio of residential, commercial or hospitality projects.
• Excellent understanding of space planning, lighting, materials and detailing.
• Proven ability to prepare complete construction drawing packages.
• Familiarity with local construction methods, materials and building regulations in Kuwait is a plus.
