Journeyman Electrician

About the role

Versar Global Solutions is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to support Task Force SAFE, providing electrical inspection, repair, installation, and maintenance services for U.S. Army facilities across the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct electrical inspections of hard‑stand, semi‑permanent, temporary, and under‑construction facilities.
• Identify and correct life‑health‑safety (LHS) violations in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) or British Standard 7671.
• Focus on ground‑fault circuit protection, building grounding systems, and equipment bonding deficiencies.
• Perform minor disassembly/reassembly of panels, switchboards, and grounding connections.
• Re‑inspect corrected deficiencies and document findings.
• Provide immediate repairs in life‑threatening situations.
• Record and submit inspection and repair reports to the TF SAFE Program Office.

Required profile

• Journeyman‑level electrician with experience in military or high‑risk environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq, Qatar, and Bahrain.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and BS 7671 standards.
• Ability to work independently on site and produce accurate reports.
