Junior Accountant – Telecom Company

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join a well‑known telecom company in Kuwait City. The role involves supporting the finance team with day‑to‑day accounting tasks, inventory control, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Apply basic inventory principles and follow established inventory control procedures.
• Perform standard accounting entries for debits and credits.
• Review invoices, goods receipt notes (GRN) and process vendor payments.
• Manage banking transactions and reconcile statements.
• Oversee fixed‑asset registers and handle asset acquisitions/disposals.
• Maintain accounts receivable and payable ledgers.
• Analyze financial data to anticipate provisions and ensure accurate book entries.

Required profile

• Strong mathematical and accounting aptitude.
• Ability to multitask with high attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset capable of accurate computations.
• Experience with data entry, analysis and financial management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Understanding of bookkeeping and inventory management processes.
