About the role
The Kitchen Steward plays a crucial part in keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, organized, and ready for the culinary team. You will ensure that all equipment, utensils, and workspaces meet hygiene standards, supporting smooth meal preparation and service.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces.
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools.
- Clean and polish silverware, glassware, and chinaware.
- Assist with inventory management of kitchen and dining equipment.
- Remove garbage and waste promptly from kitchen areas.
- Support the culinary team with food preparation and service setup.
- Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols in all areas.
- Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to supervisors.
- Participate in setup and cleanup for service periods.
Required profile
