Lead Design Engineer – Electrical

About the role

Worley is seeking a Lead Design Engineer – Electrical to ensure design integrity and lead the process engineering group on key projects within the oil & gas, refinery or petrochemical sector.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electrical engineers, designers and technical personnel throughout project execution.
• Ensure all work complies with codes, standards, contract specifications and is delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Manage discipline resource requirements, produce design estimates and review design documents and drawings.
• Prepare cost, schedule and resource estimates for electrical discipline.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of total experience, including at least 10 years in oil & gas, refinery or petrochemical industry.
• At least 5 years as a Lead Design Engineer or equivalent role.
• Experience working in a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment, preferably in the Middle East.
