Lead IT Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

The Lead IT Cybersecurity Engineer will own the end‑to‑end security of our financial services platform, ensuring compliance with regional regulations and protecting critical assets across cloud and container environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cloud security controls including IAM, encryption, key management and threat detection services.
• Secure container and Kubernetes workloads through RBAC, admission control, network policies, workload identity and image supply‑chain protection.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines and work closely with engineering teams to review code and infrastructure plans.
• Build or mature vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident response and third‑party risk programs.

Required profile

• 8+ years of information security experience, with at least 3 years leading a security domain.
• Hands‑on experience in a regulated financial‑services environment and familiarity with regulatory examinations and audits.
• Strong written communication skills for technical and senior stakeholder audiences.
• Professional proficiency in English; Arabic is strongly preferred.
