Lead Project Controls Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Lead Project Controls Engineer to support project control personnel across multiple projects. The role involves establishing planning, cost estimation, cost controls, auditing processes, and managing commercial and contractual aspects throughout the set‑up and execution phases.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist project control services using the KERP system.
• Liaise with project teams to ensure correct system utilization and data integrity.
• Prepare the Project Planning Dossier, including baseline schedule, deliverable register, S‑curve and histogram.
• Monitor project performance against the baseline and produce internal and external reports.
• Develop schedule and cost forecasts and actively manage project changes.
• Clarify cost issues, prepare monthly invoices and coordinate subcontractors.
• Implement financial controls, authorise expenditures and project cash‑flow projections.
• Manage all contract‑related matters and support commercial management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline) from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years of total experience post‑graduation.
• At least 5 years leading project controls or a similar function.
• Experience in a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment.
• Proven experience working on Middle‑East projects and with contractors or comparable delivery models.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
