Licensed Practical Nurse – Night Shift (3rd Floor Rehab)

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care to patients in the 3rd Floor Rehabilitation unit at Baptist Health. Working the night shift, the LPN supports the Registered Nurse team by applying the nursing process and delivering high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and wound care.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the supervising RN.
• Assist with rehabilitation activities and ensure a safe environment during night hours.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and follow care plans.

Required profile

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing in Arkansas.
• Availability for night shift (6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) with a 72‑hour bi‑weekly schedule.
• Healthcare CPR certification; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NALS) may be required based on unit needs.
• Ability to work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and demonstrate critical thinking.
