Lifeguard – Pool & Beach Safety

About the role

Accor is looking for a dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety of guests at its hotel pool and beach areas. You will be the first line of defence against drowning incidents and will contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor the hotel pool and beach to prevent drowning incidents.
• Maintain and update all safety signage in the assigned area.
• Hold a valid governmental lifeguard certificate and renew it as required.
• Prepare and submit hazard reports to management during each shift.
• Provide first‑aid assistance and manage emergency situations involving water‑related injuries.
• Assist in other club areas as needed and perform additional tasks assigned by management.
• Support the hotel’s health, safety, and hygiene policies and ensure cleaning standards are upheld.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of lifeguarding or related experience.
• Proficient in English and Arabic for effective communication with guests and staff.
• Completed professional trainings, seminars, and certifications relevant to lifeguarding and first aid.

Required skills

• Lifeguard certification (government‑issued).
• First‑aid certification.
