Manager of Accreditation

About the role

American International University (AIU), a private institution founded in 2019 offering undergraduate programs in Engineering, Architecture and Design, and Business Administration, is hiring a Manager of Accreditation in Jahra, Kuwait. The role supports the accreditation process and program review by coordinating documentation, compliance reporting and communication with accrediting bodies, ensuring institutional readiness for initial accreditation, renewals and site visits. It reports to the Director, Office of Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate institutional and program accreditation documentation and submissions
• Support the preparation of accreditation self-studies, reports and evidence files
• Maintain accreditation records, calendars and compliance documentation
• Liaise with academic and administrative units to ensure timely and accurate data submission
• Support preparation and logistics for accreditation site visits
• Monitor compliance with accreditation standards and follow-up requirements
• Assist in drafting accreditation-related reports, policies and procedures
• Provide regular accreditation status updates to leadership

Required profile

• Master's degree in Education, Higher Education Administration or a related field (required)
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in accreditation, compliance or quality assurance
• Higher education experience required

Required skills

• Knowledge of higher education accreditation standards and processes
• Strong organizational and documentation management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
