Manufacturing Process Quality Controller

About the role

The Manufacturing Process Quality Controller ensures that production lines meet food safety and quality standards through routine inspections, monitoring, and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality and food‑safety inspections of production lines, personnel hygiene, cleaning, sanitation and product handling.
• Monitor production and packing processes to ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, BRCGS Food Safety, GMP and company procedures.
• Verify CCPs, OPRPs and other food‑safety controls, completing required records.
• Perform in‑process and finished‑product inspections, including weight, packaging, coding, labelling and metal‑detection/sieving controls.
• Identify and report non‑conformities, participate in root‑cause analysis and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain quality and food‑safety records, traceability documents and inspection reports.
• Support product traceability and customer‑complaint investigations.
• Collaborate with production and other departments to promote a strong food‑safety culture and assist in training.

Required profile

• Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Management or related field.
• Experience in food processing/packing, preferably spices, pulses, dry foods or FMCG.
• Good knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP and BRCGS Food Safety.
• Strong English and Arabic communication skills.
• Good documentation and computer skills with strong attention to detail.
